Slightly sweeter than London Dry gin, but dryer than genever, this 'missing link' gin may or may not be the inspiration for the Tom Collins.

Also known as Vermouth di Torino, Italian vermouth, rosso and red vermouth; these vermouth have been sweetened with cane sugar or caramelized sugar, usually giving the vermouth 10-15% sugar and a slightly reddish brown color.
0.5 tsp
A liqueur distilled from Marasca cherries, that grow along the Dalmatian coast.
0.5 tsp
Also known as kirsch, this is a clear fruit brandy made from double distillation of morello cherries.
1 dash
A bitters made from Seville oranges, cardamom, caraway seed, coriander and burnt sugar.
1 twist
A yellow citrus fruit. The peel is often used as a garnish while the juice incorporated into the drink for a tart flavor profile (citric acid).

Stir all ingredients over ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lemon twist. #stir #straight
